Day 50- Exclusive Interview with Tamyka Washington, owner of theCEOmamma

Today is a special day. I have had the pleasure of interviewing Mrs.Tamyka Washington, The CEOmamma! She is a successful business women, that resides in Talhassee, Florida. She teaches women  "how to use social media and network marketing to build a profitable business and create the lifestyle they desire and deserve." (www.theceomamma.com) So at this time, I'm so excited to introduce everyone to Tamyka Washington, founder and CEO of http://www.theceomamma.com/!

1. Tell me your story. What were you doing before you started your own business?I am a wife, mom to five with baby number 6 on her way in February and entrepreneur! I work full-time
from home operating two businesses, my primary business is with a wonderful Network Marketing company
and I've recently started my own Marketing & Consulting business.

Prior to starting my first business in 2002, I worked a few service based and retail jobs that kept me away from my, then three children. I always knew having my own business was what I definitely wanted and I was
determined to make it happen.

2. What made you want to start a business and what is your mission? What made me want to start a business was my desire to be a stay-at-home mom but still be able
to contribute to the household income. My passion was to help women like me, who wanted something
more while keeping their personal priorities at the top of the list.

My mission was and still is today, to help women achieve their dreams of being successful business
owners by sharing my years of experience and knowledge.

3. What inspires you? What keeps you movtivated daily to keep growing your business? What keeps me inspired is the many thanks and appreciation I get from women I help regularly, get to
where they want to be in their business. I have a great love for Social Media, Network Marketing and Blogging and It is my passion to be able teach women how to build and market their business on a budget, the same way I did and continue to do.

I'm motivated everyday by my children. It was because of them I started my first business and continue to
build a legacy for them. As they grow into young adults, it makes me proud to know they too, want to be
entrepreneurs!

4. Do you have a mentor? Who is it and why? Do you believe it's important to have one?At this time, I do not have a personal mentor, however, I have in the past and currently connect with others in my industry who inspire me and encourage me to be my absolute best. Having a mentor is valuable because it will allow you to have someone in your corner to not only look up to but to help you along your journey. A real mentor will be aware of your goals and dreams and help you regularly by holding you accountable for your actions (or lack of) to help you grow.

5. What would you tell someone who wants to get involved in your line of business but doesn't know how to get started? My first piece of advice would be to really be sure it is something you want to do and have a true passion for it. Starting any business is not easy and takes a certain level of commitment of time and dedication. You may not even see a profit for months but you have to be willing to stick with it because you love it.

To get started and be successful, you have to be willing to do the research and continue to learn everything you need to know within the industry. Tracking results and trying new methods is how you will grow productively and be effective.

6. What advice would you give to someone with an entrepeneur spirit? My advice would be to go for it! If you believe in yourself and have the drive, do it no matter what. There will be times that people won't support your vision or understand your dream but you should never give up!
